Job Title: Service Delivery Manager

Age UK Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Service Delivery Manager to lead our team in delivering excellent services to older individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and coordination of our portfolio of services and projects, promoting safe and independent living for older people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of services and projects aimed at enabling safe and independent living.
  • Manage all independent living projects and achieve targets set by funding contracts.
  • Manage and support staff and volunteers to achieve high-quality person-centered delivery and targets.
  • Create and implement an effective marketing plan to promote services and projects.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out for all activities and health and safety procedures are followed.
  • Ensure the safeguarding process and reporting mechanisms are followed.
  • Manage expenditure within allocated budgets.
  • Keep up to date with developments in falls prevention best practice.
  • Monitor and evaluate the service user experience to develop and improve services.
  • Develop partnerships with key stakeholders such as Health & Social Care Workers and other voluntary sector organizations.
  • Represent Age UK Birmingham at strategic partnership meetings.
