Job Summary

Mitie is seeking a skilled Facilities Service Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Service Delivery team, you will play a critical role in managing the delivery of hard services PPM & reactive works allocated to our team for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of hard services PPM & reactive works using the latest scheduling software (PSO 360).
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, engineers, contract and performance managers, and third-party suppliers.
  • Identify and analyze problems using technology and reported information, and develop creative solutions.
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery, or risk to health and safety, or the environment.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.

Requirements

  • Strong IT skills, including use of CAFM systems (e.g. Maximo) and excellent Excel skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues, engineers, contract and performance managers, and third-party suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively.

Working Environment

This role is based in our offices near Birmingham International airport and a 5-minute walk from the International train station. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, with a shift rotation between 7am and 7pm.
