Job Description
  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will work across early (8AM - 4PM) and late (12:30PM - 8:30PM) shifts, covering temporary cover for approximately 2-3 months. The role involves working with victims of violence against women and girls (VAWG), domestic violence, and other gender-based violence.

You will be required to hold a caseload of 5 key clients, carrying out regular key working sessions resulting in agreed support plans that are person-centred, trauma-informed, and enable progression. You will also complete comprehensive needs and risk assessments and manage risks effectively.

In this position, you will work closely with your clients to move them on within 28 days to suitable longer-term accommodation and support them to access and sustain their accommodation. You will respond effectively to risks around VAWG and work within a multi-agency framework to reduce risk.

You will also work in partnership with other departments and external agencies to ensure that client needs are assessed and addressed appropriately. Your tasks will include supporting clients to access specialist support in relation to their needs, ensuring key clients' income is maximised, and assisting clients to access suitable courses or placements.
