Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled social work professional to join our team as a Practice Educator. This role is crucial in developing a strong learning culture to support newly qualified social workers, student social workers, and apprentices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality learning experiences, working closely with training providers, supporting mentors, and directly supervising learners.

This position plays a vital role in our 'grow your own' strategy, ensuring a supportive environment for aspiring and newly qualified social workers to flourish and become outstanding professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a strong learning culture to support the growth of social workers
  • Collaborating with training providers to create effective learning experiences
  • SUPPORTING AND DEVELOPING MENTORS AND PRACTICE EDUCATORS
  • Directly supervising and coaching learners

Requirements

  • A social work qualification
  • Experience in social work or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
