Social Work Academy Manager RoleWe are seeking an experienced Social Work Academy Manager on a fixed-term contract for two years. The role will focus on improving safeguarding services for our local community and supporting the 'grow your own' vision through high-quality social worker recruitment efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit and support new entrants to the social work profession, including student social workers, apprentices, and Newly Qualified Social Workers.
- Establish relationships with local universities and colleges to ensure a pipeline of high-quality social workers.
- Directly manage and supervise a team of practice educators and practice leads.
- Ensure high standards of practice and quality in social work training and development.
To succeed in this role, you will have drive, determination, and ambition, with a strong commitment to making a real difference in the lives of Hull's children and families. You should hold a social work qualification and have relevant experience in social work leadership or management.
