We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Care Worker to join our team at Esland, providing exceptional support to children in our care. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality care, promoting the well-being and development of young people, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes.

About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, supporting their emotional and psychological needs, and facilitating their participation in therapeutic activities. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting positive relationships and empowering young people to achieve their full potential.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a children's residential care setting
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare or equivalent
  • A full driving license issued in the UK
  • A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including sleepovers
  • Commitment to promoting equal opportunities and challenging discriminatory behavior
