Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing guidance, support, and advocacy to young adults and children in our residential setting.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain positive relationships with teenagers and their families
- Conduct key work sessions to support young people with their emotional, social, and behavioural needs
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and behavioural management strategies
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive care planning
- Document and maintain accurate records of interactions and progress
- At least one year's experience working with young adults and children in a residential setting
- Strong understanding of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and resilience in managing challenging situations
- Enhanced DBS registration or willingness to process
- Three years' professional references
