About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Tesco Colleague. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of store standards.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and operating the till system.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging shopping environment.
  • Participate in stock management and replenishment, maintaining accurate stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Support colleagues during busy periods, working together to meet customer demands and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services, providing customers with expert advice and recommendations.
  • Engage with customers, building relationships and promoting loyalty through excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards.
