We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Catering Stores Person at HMP Parc & YOI, Bridgend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering meals around the outskirts of the prison, working closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless meal delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and organize deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient processing
  • Collect and maintain food trolleys, adhering to strict hygiene standards
  • Deliver meals to various locations within the prison, utilizing a CAT C1 licensed vehicle
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth meal delivery operations
  • Implement stock rotation and utilize the FIFO method to maintain optimal inventory levels

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Cat C1 driving license
  • Full DBS and HMPPS vetting clearance
  • Ability to lift and push heavy food trollies
  • A positive attitude and strong team player skills
