About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our East Specialist Health Community Learning Disability Team. As a specialist physiotherapist, you will work with adults with complex physical health needs, including those with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for assessing and treating clients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing training and support to carers and family members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat clients with complex physical health needs, including those with learning disabilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including hydrotherapy and postural management.
  • Provide training and support to carers and family members.
  • Work closely with other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Post-qualification experience in physiotherapy.
  • Experience of working with people with communication difficulties.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under rapid changing and demanding conditions.
