About The Role

A unique opportunity for a skilled Community Development Coordinator to join our team and contribute to transforming lives. You will work closely with our teams and the local community and voluntary sectors to develop and deliver activities that promote social cohesion, education, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a weekly program of participation activities and sessions that cater to diverse interests and needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, external agencies, young people, and in-house experts to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
  • Develop educational, practical, and engaging activities that foster skill development, knowledge acquisition, and personal growth.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related field.
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those experiencing homelessness.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust, establish professional relationships, and demonstrate resilience.
  • Familiarity with the local community and voluntary sectors.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
