Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans to promote the well-being and success of our residents.
  • Provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment that fosters positive relationships and encourages personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential team to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Participate in regular supervisions and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, tidy, and safe living environment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or Level 4 Children, Young People and Families practitioner Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
