About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic Construction and Engineering team at Shoosmiths. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our partners and legal advisors, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing diaries, organizing meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to partners and legal advisors, including confidential matters, diary management, and document preparation.
  • Manage email accounts, respond to routine queries, and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, as well as prepare agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations using various software applications.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or related industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
