Senior Midwife - Community Health Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Midwife to join our team in Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our community health specialist team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to women and families across the region.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote a woman and family-centered style of clinical practice, demonstrating excellent midwifery skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide seamless care to women and families, ensuring effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, protocols, and guidelines relevant to your area of practice.
Requirements:
  • Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • United Kingdom recognised Degree in Midwifery Practice.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of a professional portfolio and registration revalidation.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £43,041 - £70,900 per annum, depending on experience.
