Job Summary

We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual to support our corporate finance team in executing M&A transactions, supporting deal-related projects, and building a broad expertise across the spectrum of corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including strategic advisory, financial due diligence, and transaction management.
  • Support deal-related projects, including the preparation of marketing pitchbooks, financial analyses, and company valuations.
  • Conduct financial analyses and assessments of companies, including generating models for company valuations and drafting marketing documents.
  • Build and maintain databases, including company information and transaction data.
  • Support clients through due diligence processes, managing data sites and information provision.
  • Work with the team to coordinate key aspects of transaction workstreams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of achievement from newly qualified to three years post-qualified, from a professional practice/corporate finance background.
  • A proactive attitude and superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and previous experience in a transaction-based role would be highly advantageous.

This represents an opportunity to join a young and disruptive corporate finance team, focused on providing flexible, value-add advisory services to its extensive client base. The company is privately owned and has grown to c.70 staff across four offices in Scotland.
