Job Title: Corporate Finance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Specialist to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a key member of our Market Oversight Directorate, you will play a critical role in regulating capital markets activity in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a sound and practical working knowledge of primary markets regulation.
  • Develop project management and influencing skills.
  • Take on significant levels of responsibility and deal with a variety of advisers on technical issues.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure effective regulation of capital markets.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £51,200 to £72,000 per annum in Edinburgh and £56,400 to £80,000 per annum in London.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days holiday per year, private healthcare, and a non-contributory pension.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communications skills, including written English.
  • Highly effective influencing skills, including delivering difficult messages.
  • Wider experience of capital markets, including equity capital markets and/or debt capital markets.
  • Knowledge of closed and open-ended investment fund structures and asset management.
