Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems at customer premises throughout the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake service calls on a planned preventative and reactive basis at customer premises as required.
  • Perform Preventive Service Maintenance and repair of customer's site equipment and other manufacturer's products and systems.
  • Communicate activity and requirements with the customer in a clear and concise manner.
  • Report via job sheets the activities carried out and faults found during service.
  • Provide assistance in the installation and commissioning of any machines.
  • Train customer and their technicians in the use and service and maintenance of equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • Current experience working in a similar Plant and Equipment arena, preferably within a maintenance environment.
  • Multi-skilled experience with Materials Handling Equipment and Automatic process equipment.
  • Ability to work in various locations and varied environments under your own initiative.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
