The Service Engineer (Field) role will be suitable for engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cleaning equipment, or similar. The company will provide full training for vehicle technicians looking to transition into a new industry. The ideal candidate will have mechanical service and repair skills, with experience in engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills.

As part of a team of engineers, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts in and around Corby. No extensive travel is required, and an excellent OTE is available through overtime and commission.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  2. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  3. Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  4. Spares placed in van overnight
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  2. Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
  3. IT literate
