We seek to appoint two Specialty Doctors in Palliative Medicine to support the delivery of specialist palliative care across various settings.

\

Job Summary

\

This role involves providing clinical and educational support to our Inpatient Units and Community-Based Palliative Care Service, including virtual clinics, outpatient services, and home visits.

\

As a Specialty Doctor, you will join an innovative multidisciplinary team, sharing responsibility for education programme development and working closely with Primary Care colleagues and Acute Services.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality palliative care to patients and their families\
  • Contribute to education programme development and delivery\
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes\
  • Participate in on-call support as first on-call\
\

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully registered with a License to Practice with the GMC\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development\
\
