About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in Manchester, providing advanced palliative care to patients with life-limiting conditions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care and supporting patients and their families through challenging times.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a strong background in specialist health nursing, with experience in palliative care and a deep understanding of the complexities involved.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing personalized care plans, and providing emotional support to patients and their loved ones.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced palliative care to patients with life-limiting conditions, including complex physical, psychological, and emotional needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support patients and their families.
  • Assess patient needs, develop personalized care plans, and provide emotional support to patients and their loved ones.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in health-related field or equivalent portfolio experience.
  • Up-to-date registration with the NMC.
  • Experience in specialist health nursing, particularly in palliative care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
