Job Title: Machine Operator – Folder

About the Role:

We are SkillsHouse Bradford, a dynamic and ambitious international organization that is constantly changing. We offer a challenging position within a flat hierarchy and short decision-making paths, where you will have direct communication with colleagues across the UK business unit.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate a Folding & Gluing machine to produce high-quality solid board solutions.

• Set up and adjust the machine to support various size board products, ensuring efficient production and meeting company standards.

• Monitor and fine-tune machine running speeds to maintain consistent efficiency and achieve targets.

• Report any folding or glue issues to the team leader and design team to resolve and prevent sending poor-quality products to customers.

• Perform weekly routine maintenance, cleaning the machine to maintain high BRC standards, and work with the engineering team to grease and replace worn parts.

Minimum Qualification Level: Level 2

Essential and Desirable Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail is a must.

• Machine operating experience is essential.

• A team player who is prepared to help others.

• Continuous improvement mindset.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience within the packaging industry.

• Die cutting operating experience is advantageous.

• Forklift driving experience is advantageous due to multi-skilled work available.
