Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at SkillsHouse Bradford. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Folding & Gluing machine, setting it up to meet production specifications, and monitoring its performance to ensure efficiency and quality.
Main Responsibilities
• Operate a Folding & Gluing machine with precision and attention to detail.
• Set up the machine to produce a variety of board products, adjusting rails and frames as needed.
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the design team to resolve any issues that may arise during production.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating the machine, to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Participate in training and development programs to learn and operate other process lines and machines, such as Die Cutters, Laminators, and Printers.
Requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and machine operating experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience in the packaging industry is desirable, but not required.
