Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is £26,400 based on 35 hours per week at £12.50 per hour.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting the team in planning and implementing new procedures and concepts
  • Ensuring that all food served meets the highest standards of quality
  • Training and supervising new staff in the safe preparation of food items
  • Maintaining par stock levels and ensuring that all deliveries are crossed-checked with purchase orders
  • Participating in the formulation and compilation of new menus
  • Undertaking relevant training as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ level 2 culinary or equivalent
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Previous experience of working in a kitchen/within catering
  • Basic DBS Required
