Join Our Team as a Junior Aerodynamic Development Engineer

At McLaren Racing, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and performance. As a Junior Aerodynamic Development Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving our CFD tools development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Aerodynamic Development team in related CFD R&D activities
  • Develop a high level of understanding of CFD methodology and performance
  • Collaborate with the HPC, Software, and Analysis teams to drive innovation
  • Contribute to the maintenance of our large codebase
  • Develop a strong understanding of aerodynamic performance development
Requirements:
  • Strong mathematical background, particularly in linear algebra and partial differential equations
  • Experience with CFD solver development, process automation, and applications
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (C++, Python, etc.)
  • Version control system skills
  • Exposure to aerodynamic development is preferred
