Job Title: Aerodynamic Development Engineer

At Motorsport Network, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in the world of motorsport. As an Aerodynamic Development Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in driving our high-performance capabilities forward.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a talented individual to join our CFD Methodology group as a Junior role. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with experts from various departments to develop and maintain our CFD tools. Your primary focus will be on driving the CFD tools development efforts, working closely with the HPC, Software, Analysis, and Aero Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of CFD methodology and performance, including HPC hardware, software, and novel numerical methods.
  • Contribute to and maintain our large codebase, ensuring seamless integration with other teams.
  • Collaborate with the Aero Development team to deliver effective and targeted CFD methodology support.
  • Work closely with the HPC and Software teams to drive the development of CFD tools.
Requirements:
  • Strong mathematical background, particularly in linear algebra, partial differential equations, and finite volume/element/high order numerical methods.
  • Experience in using simulation tools/packages in industrial applications.
  • Strong coding skills in object-oriented programming languages (C++, Python, or others) and version control systems.
  • Exposure to aerodynamic development is preferred.
