Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Childbase Partnership as an Apprentice in our Knowle Green Day Nursery. The successful candidate will have a natural ability to nurture and care for young children, with a strong interest in child development and learning.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a team to create and maintain safe and supportive learning environments, planning and implementing opportunities to enhance children's development and completing observations linked to the early years curriculum.
  • Interact positively with all nursery users, working in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure all children's individual needs are met at all times.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from the leadership team as required.
  • Successfully manage time to submit coursework by deadlines set by the trainer/assessor.

  • 11 group training sessions with other apprentices across our partnership, held at our head office in Newport Pagnell.

Requirements

  • Documentation to evidence the right to work in the UK.
  • Photographic ID in the form of a valid passport or driving licence.
  • Official documentation to evidence national insurance number.
  • Access to a computer to undertake the initial online assessment and submit ongoing coursework.
  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Comfortable with travelling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
