The Role

We are seeking an experienced IS Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily administration tasks associated with the IS department, including managing the purchase of IT equipment and working closely with the IS Technical Support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the ordering and procurement of IT equipment, ensuring timely delivery and setup for new employees.
  • Raise and manage CAPEX spend for IT equipment purchases, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
  • Log all requests for new equipment on the IT Helpdesk software, ensuring seamless tracking and resolution.
  • Liaise with the IS Technical Support team to ensure new employees have equipment set up and ready for starting employment.
  • Ensure scheduled calls are completed on time, escalating any issues or breaches to the IS Manager.
  • Maintain accurate stock and scheduled call spreadsheets, ensuring up-to-date records at all times.
  • Document and maintain processes and procedures for Scheduled Calls, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Answer incoming calls to the IS department, recording messages and passing them onto the correct person.
  • Work with the IS Technicians to prioritize and allocate calls on the helpdesk, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
Requirements
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in PC-based applications and systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to set objectives and prioritize workloads.
