About Us: We are a leading construction and property consultancy with multiple offices across the UK, seeking a highly ambitious Director of Building Surveying to lead our London team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Building Surveyor with MRICS Chartered status or the ability to achieve it promptly, to take on a Director-level role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, direct client interaction, and project work, with a comprehensive skill set in Building Surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Building Surveying team in London, overseeing various projects, including Commercial, Residential, University frameworks, and Turn-key Student Accommodation projects.
- Manage Contract Administration, Project Management, and Due Diligence tasks, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve client satisfaction, and enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and negotiating contracts.
Requirements:
- MRICS Chartered status or ability to achieve it promptly.
- Proven track record in team management, direct client interaction, and project work.
- Strong background in Building Surveying, with a comprehensive skill set.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £95k base, with the possibility of earning a six-figure remuneration in the first year through performance-based bonuses. Additionally, you will have opportunities to gain equity in the company, contingent on demonstrating value to the team and the business.
