We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Building Surveying to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a Director of Building Surveying, you will be responsible for leading our building surveying services and providing expert guidance to clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of building surveying services, with a focus on project work in the industrial and commercial sector.
- Conduct technical due diligence and provide expert advice to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities and growing our consultancy services.
- Supervise, manage, and mentor junior members of the building surveying team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
- Conduct technical reviews to ensure the quality of our services and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage dilapidations and other building surveying services, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards.
- MRICS Chartered status.
- Proven experience in a consultancy environment, with a strong track record of delivering building surveying services.
- Commercial acumen and ability to win new business and develop client relationships.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage individual team members and organize their work.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and recommendations.
- A competitive salary from £80,000 to £90,000, dependent on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements and 25 holiday days plus bank holidays.
