Job Description

Join the World Bank Group as a Senior Program Assistant and contribute to the success of our regional operations. As a key member of our team, you will provide operational support to our teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-demand operational support to teams on lending, active portfolio, and project management.
  • Assist teams in resolving operational issues, including those related to the operations portal.
  • Support the preparation and review of project documents, such as Concept Notes and Implementation Status and Results Reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, including logistical and documentation arrangements.
  • Exercise quality enhancement functions for all types of documents.
  • Manage clearance procedures and finalization of documents.
  • Support the Practice Manager on monitoring and management of the unit's work program.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Operational experience in tasks and systems associated with FCI GP business lines.
  • Knowledge of Bank operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Solid experience in contract management, budget, and TF/ASA/EFO administration.
  • Good knowledge in WPA and budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
