Health and Support Team Lead Position

This is a challenging role within the NHS, requiring an individual with strong management skills to lead a team of administrative staff. As a Health and Support Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing management support to Operational Managers and direct reports, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to perform their roles effectively.
You will work closely with the management team to ensure consistent high standards of service delivery, and be responsible for coordinating clinical rotas, pay roll submissions, and managing holidays and other periods of absence. Additionally, you will oversee the coordination of reception rotas across all PCAS services, ensuring adequate cover arrangements are in place.
The ideal candidate will possess a management qualification (level 5 or above) or significant experience as a line manager, as well as experience working in a healthcare environment. You will also be flexible in your approach to work, trustworthy and open, and able to manage difficult conversations with confidence.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop protocols and ensure robust policies and procedures are in place, which fit with PCS policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for administering the Clinical System, including the induction and setup of new users, system maintenance, and backup procedures.
