Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Digital Transformation Lead to join our team at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation across our mental health services.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our digital strategy, ensuring that technology supports top-tier mental health services. This includes aligning tech systems for optimal patient care, fostering efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to execute digital plans that meet trust goals.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Strategic management of information and technology, overseeing informatics, IT infrastructure, and business & performance teams.
  • Quality care support: Enhancing patient experiences through effective technology adoption.
  • Data privacy and security: Ensuring secure data usage and compliance with regulations like GDPR.
  • Innovation and EPR: Driving innovations for better user experiences, including Electronic Patient Record System (Rio).
  • Cultural leadership: Fostering a values-based workplace culture and overseeing Digital team's growth.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
  • Experience working within an NHS healthcare provider environment in a senior capacity, strategic planning, and Digital strategy development.
  • Senior level IT/Informatics experience and managing complex IT projects and programmes.

Earnings Potential

The salary for this position is approximately £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
