Company Secretarial Support Specialist

SMB has an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and experienced Company Secretarial Support Specialist to join their team in London. As a key member of the Corporate Governance Group, this role will involve providing high-quality administrative support to the EMEA Group Company Secretary, Deputy Company Secretaries, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
About the RoleThis dynamic position requires the candidate to have previous experience working in a similar role within the financial services sector. A good understanding of corporate governance obligations, particularly those required under PRA and FCA rules, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have excellent minute-taking and record-keeping skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Providing administrative support to the EMEA Group Company Secretary, Deputy Company Secretaries, and other stakeholders, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Assisting in the preparation of the Directors' Report and Strategic Review for inclusion in the annual report and accounts of relevant companies.
- Managing supplier relationships and maintaining accurate records of contracts and agreements.
- Proven experience working in a company secretarial or similar role within the financial services sector.
- Excellent MS Office Suite skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
The estimated salary for this role is around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
