About the Role

As a Musculoskeletal Health Professional at NHS Tayside, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our staff. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Occupational Health caseload, providing specialist MSK assessment and treatment to staff affected by injuries and conditions impacting their work.

You will work closely with colleagues to design and implement an internal pathway for short-term acute therapy, preventative support, and self-management. This will involve providing early interventions for staff members before MSK-related absences occur and assisting with their recovery back to work.

The ideal candidate will have extensive postgraduate experience working within an MSK environment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to the organization's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage the Occupational Health caseload and provide specialist MSK assessment and treatment to staff affected by injuries and conditions impacting their work
  • To work closely with colleagues to design and implement an internal pathway for short-term acute therapy, preventative support, and self-management
