About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Care and Support Specialist to join our team, providing care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. As a Care and Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering person-centered care that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote independence and socialization
  • Maintain accurate records of resident's progress and observations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move residents as needed
