Job Details

This role involves working in one of our residential homes, providing 24/7 care and support to children and young people. You will contribute to creating a stimulating and secure environment, promoting their physical, emotional, and educational well-being.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement care plans that cater to each child's specific needs and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
  • Support with Personal Needs: Assist children with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting, promoting their dignity and autonomy.
  • Participating in Team Meetings: Regularly attend team meetings to discuss progress, share best practices, and address any concerns or challenges affecting the children and young people in our care.

You will work in close collaboration with the Registered Homes Manager and Senior Residential Support Workers to ensure high-quality care and support for all children and young people in our residential homes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable children and young people, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A L3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent experience is essential.
