About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Perthyn, a leading provider of support services for adults with learning disabilities in England and Wales.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support that improves the daily lives of our service users, promoting their independence and autonomy, and meeting their unique needs and preferences.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality support that improves the daily lives of adults with learning disabilities
  • To work collaboratively with other staff members and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
  • To maintain a safe and supportive environment that promotes dignity and respect
  • To communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues using clear and compassionate language
  • To adapt to different routines and provide flexible support that meets the changing needs of service users

What We Offer

  • A competitive full-time basic salary of £25,029.00
  • The opportunity to earn additional income by completing sleep-in shifts (£60 per night) and working overtime
  • An annual holiday scheme starting at 22 days, plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 26 days)
