Vetro Recruitment is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Learning Disability Support Workers in Carmarthen. This role offers the opportunity to work with individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs, providing therapeutic care and support to enable them to live as independently as possible.

About the Role

This position involves working within an award-winning service, where you will assist individuals through a care pathway to help them achieve their goals. You will have the full support of a team of multi-disciplinary professionals, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare specialists.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks and activities
  • Monitor and record individual progress
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Requirements
  • At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for young people with Learning disabilities
