We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Finance Assistant to join our team at The Children's Trust. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Financial Controller and assisting with various finance-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions: Process and reconcile financial transactions, including purchase and sales ledger duties, credit card transactions, and cash book entries.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including month-end journals and reconciliations.
- Financial Administration: Manage the paper filing system, respond to queries from staff members, and provide general administrative support to the Finance Team.
- Financial Analysis: Assist with the analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, including the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a finance-related role.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Software: Proficiency in financial software, including spreadsheets and accounting systems.
