The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Radiotherapy Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) in providing a comprehensive and efficient service.
- Perform clinical and clerical duties, including hands-on care, assistance, and emotional support to patients and their carers.
- Prepare and run assigned weekly treatment review clinics and phlebotomy services.
The Radiotherapy Support Worker will primarily support patients and radiographers within the radiotherapy department. This diverse role involves clinical and clerical aspects, including:
- Chaperoning patients during treatment and procedures.
- Participating in the phlebotomy service, taking blood samples from patients.
- Recording patient observations using the National Early Warnings Scoring system.
- Assisting in the brachytherapy and Papillon suite.

- Basic general education to GCSE level.
- NVQ 3 qualification.
