Job Title: Relief Support Worker

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Liverpool, Merseyside. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide personalised support plans to service users in our learning disabilities supported living services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise, encourage, and support service users to maximise their self-care and independent living skills.
  • Promote the service user's self-esteem and enable them to express their preferences and make choices and decisions.
  • Support service users in budgeting and managing their finances.
  • Work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
  • Encourage service users to identify their strengths and interests and support them in accessing social, leisure, education, and work activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Ability to work using your own initiative and promote independence.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
