About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Planning and Control Specialist to join our team, responsible for performing advanced project reporting and scheduling, undertaking problem solving based on previous experience, attending on-the-job training, consolidating expertise from multiple sources, and leading a small team with limited guidance from the Line Manager.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within project controls, experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, previous experience in line management, and experience in stakeholder management on all levels. A professional project management qualification such as APM is desirable but not essential.

The salary for this position is £45,628 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Additional benefits include a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company-contributed Share Incentive Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and status reports
  2. Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  3. Provide expert advice to stakeholders on project-related matters
  4. Manage and coordinate project resources, including personnel and materials
  5. Maintain accurate records of project progress and performance metrics
