Job Description:

As a Commissioning Project Lead, you will be responsible for the administration, technical control & development of personnel in consistently achieving departmental goals, performance metrics expectations, and milestones in accordance with the Contract Delivery Programme. You will have an opportunity to lead & manage a team of Engineers within the Weapons Test Section, coordinating input of information to the team from all engineering functions. You will be working on advanced weapons equipment, requiring a high specialist focus. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

Key Requirements:
  • Commissioning engineering experience
  • Reviewing electrical and weapons technical documentation and drawings
  • Good knowledge of either Sonar, Navigation, Command Systems or external communications systems from either commissioning or maintaining experience
  • Knowledge of safety controls & procedures in a high-risk operational environment
