About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to join our team at The Beachcomber Inn, our flagship food-led pub on resort. As a Duty Manager, you'll play a vital role in helping our guests create unforgettable memories by delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and setting the tone for a high-performing team.
  • Develop and lead a team of hospitality professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure effective communication and ensure your team is up-to-date with relevant information.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness within the team and the venue.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation.
  • Analyse KPIs to control food costs and labour, working closely with the manager to drive business growth.
  • Implement stock control systems to maximise gross profit margin.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in a food-led pub environment.
  • Level 2 in Food Hygiene is essential, Intermediate Food Hygiene is desirable.
  • Knowledge of stocktaking, labour control, and health and safety practices in catering.
  • A personal license holder is preferable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional experiences to guests and visitors.
