Clinical Lead Psychologist

A clinical lead psychologist opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled professional to work in a leading mental health hospital based in Surrey. As a senior member of the team, you will provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients and their families.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality services to clients, working closely with other professionals to ensure effective treatment plans are implemented. You will contribute towards the development of new services and support staff supervision, facilitation of client-related work, and delivery of training to staff and stakeholders. A strong background in psychology, experience in mental health settings, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients and their families
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Support staff supervision and facilitation of client-related work
* Deliver training to staff and stakeholders on various topics, including psychological principles and practices
* Contribute to the development of new services and programs within the mental health hospital
* Ensure adherence to Clinical Governance and operational policies while maintaining autonomy as required
Skills and Qualifications
* Master's degree in Psychology or related field
* Registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council)
* Proven experience in mental health settings, preferably in a leadership role
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Additional expertise in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is desirable
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £58,000 per annum, pro rata. As a valued member of our team, you will receive a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, contributory pension scheme, and opportunities for further training and development.
