Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Team Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of reception staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels, and organizing rotas. They will also ensure that all reception staff are fully conversant with practice policies and protocols.

This includes the induction and training of new reception staff to agreed standards, prioritizing workload to ensure all daily tasks for the reception team are undertaken, and conducting monthly reception meetings.

The Practice Team Coordinator will also be responsible for entering GP surgeries onto the computer system, making appointments for patients to see doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff associated with the practice, and ensuring practice reception protocols are updated on a regular basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and strong organizational skills. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

You will also need to be able to enter data accurately and efficiently into our computer system and have basic IT skills.
