Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to support young pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.

As a Psychology Support Assistant, you will work closely with our team to provide one-to-one sessions and support pupils in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement support plans
  • Assist pupils with daily tasks and activities
  • Use initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of individual pupils
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and their families

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of support and intervention programs for SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing mindset
