Job Title: Psychology Support Assistant

We are seeking a Psychology Support Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Psychology Support Assistant, you will work closely with young pupils who require support with SEN and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to young pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of individual pupils
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and their families
  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures related to SEN and SEMH support

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High expectations for pupil progress and achievement
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of support/intervention programmes for SEND
