About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Trials Assistant to join our Paediatric Research Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of clinical research studies, providing direct patient care and administrative support to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the delivery of clinical research studies, including direct patient care and administrative support.
  • Organising own workload, coordinating and implementing delegated studies.
  • Developing and maintaining clinical knowledge and skills to provide a high standard of care to children and their families participating in research.
  • Delivering direct care to participants, coordinating and undertaking a range of clinical tasks and observations.

Requirements

  • A' Level/NVQ3 or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
  • Complete Care Certificate or NVQ3/Foundation degree in Healthcare-related subject.
  • Significant relevant clinical experience in a patient-facing healthcare clinical role.
  • Experience of data management and interest in clinical research.
