About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Trials Assistant to join our Paediatric Research Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in facilitating the delivery of our wide portfolio of studies, working closely with children and their families to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of clinical research studies, including direct patient care and administrative support.
  • Organise and coordinate the day-to-day implementation of delegated studies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Develop and maintain clinical knowledge and skills to provide a high standard of care to participants.
  • Deliver direct care to participants, coordinating and undertaking clinical tasks and observations as required.

Person Specification

  • A' Level/NVQ3 or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
  • Complete Care Certificate or NVQ3/Foundation degree in Healthcare-related subject.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and willingness to undertake further training.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree/Higher education or equivalent.
  • IT-related qualifications.
  • ICH GCP Trained.
